The egg scene…

Who needs expensive masks when your fridge has the secret? Eggs are packed with protein, vitamin A, D, E, and biotin — all amazing for skin and hair.

Here are 05 simple, do-it-yourself tips:

Glow-Getter Face Mask:

For: Dull, tired skin.

Whisk 01 egg white until frothy. Apply a thin layer to clean face, avoid eyes. Let it dry 15 minutes, until it feels tight. Rinse with lukewarm water.

Dry-Hair Treatment:

For: Frizzy, damaged hair … from the heat and sun.

Beat together 01 whole egg and 01 tablespoon coconut oil and massage into scalp and hair. Leave for 20 minutes, and then shampoo with cool water.

*  Oil-Control Toner:

For: Oily skin and large pores.

Mix 01 egg white and ½ teaspoon lemon juice and apply to the central area of your face. Leave for 10 minutes, and then rinse.

Use only 01-02 times a week.

Under-Eye Depuffer:

For: Puffy eyes … after late nights at the desk.

Dab a tiny bit of egg white, under the eyes, with your ring finger. Leave for 10 minutes, and then rinse gently.

Nail Strengthener:

For: Brittle, peeling nails.

Mix 01 egg yolk and 01 teaspoon olive oil and soak fingertips for 10 minutes. Rinse and moisturise.

Important:

Always use cool/lukewarm water to wash off egg. Hot water can leave scrambled egg in your hair.

Patch test first, especially if you have egg allergies, or sensitive skin.

Use fresh eggs and don’t keep leftovers on skin for too long.
