Pan Asia Bank has announced the appointment of Mr. B D A Perera as Chairman of the Bank and Ms. Ayodhya Iddawela Perera as Deputy Chairperson with effect from 3rd August 2026, further strengthening the Bank’s leadership as it continues to advance its strategic priorities and long-term growth agenda.
Perera succeeds to the role after serving on the Board since April 2021 and as Deputy Chairman and Senior Independent Director since November 2024. A respected financial services professional with over two decades of experience in the leasing and finance industry, he currently serves as Executive Director of L B Finance PLC, where he has played a pivotal role in driving business growth and strengthening operational excellence. He also serves as an Executive Director of L B Finance PLC’s subsidiary in Myanmar, L B Microfinance Myanmar Company Limited.
