Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s Private Secretary, Sugeeshwara Bandara, was further remanded until August 25 after being produced before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
The court rejected a bail application filed on behalf of Bandara, who is in remand custody over allegations that he received two salaries under the Presidential Expenditure Head.
Following the rejection of the bail application, the court ordered that Bandara be further remanded until August 25.
