SGIC launches 24-hour customer call center in Nikawaratiya

Sanasa General Insurance Company (SGIC) has strengthened its customer service with the opening of a new 24-hour call center in Nikawaratiya. The facility, inaugurated on 24 May 2025, was unveiled by CEO Wasantha Perera alongside senior management.

The center will provide round-the-clock support for vehicle insurance (third-party & comprehensive), renewals, claims assistance, and general inquiries, ensuring prompt and efficient service through a dedicated, well-trained team.

Speaking at the launch, CEO Wasantha Perera emphasized, “Our customers come first. This expansion reflects our commitment to accessible, reliable support—anytime, anywhere. We’re simplifying insurance to serve both urban and rural communities better.”

The initiative aligns with SGIC’s strategy to enhance service reach, particularly in underserved areas, reducing dependency on physical branches.
