Table Tennis ‘stars’ of yesteryears met up with Eric Motha during his recent visit to Sri Lanka.(Left to Right): Sunimal Salgadoe, Rasakantha Rasiah, Annesley Gomez, MB De Silva and Eric Motha (former Secretary TTASL and former President Mercantile TT Association). Annesley Gomez was a former National Champion whilst Rasakantha Rasiah and MB De Silva were Sri Lanka players. Sunimal Salgadoe too was a former TT player.
The foursome represented the Mercantile TT Association in the Quadrangular Tournaments of the 60’s and 70’s and held office in the Association over several years.
