Hundreds of migrants check in as historic Roosevelt Hotel reopens as ‘arrival centre’

Twenty busloads of migrants have arrived at the historic Roosevelt Hotel, which will be used to house the new arrivals. The 1,000-room hotel has areas for check-in, registration and emergency medical services and will eventually be fully occupied.
