‘LTL Humanity’ launches nationwide two-phase relief drive

LTL Holdings has launched a nationwide relief initiative, under the banner ‘LTL Humanity’, aiming to provide immediate assistance and long-term recovery support to communities affected by adverse weather and other hardships.

A press release said that the programme is being rolled out in two phases. The first phase focuses on emergency relief, with 15,000 food parcels and essential supplies distributed to affected families over a two-week period. LTL Holdings has allocated over Rs. 100 million for this phase, ensuring that basic food and hygiene needs are met promptly.

Phase Two will shift attention to long-term rehabilitation, including the construction of houses for displaced families, repair and reconstruction of institutions such as schools and children’s hospitals, and the restoration of essential utilities, including electricity connections.

In addition to food parcels, the initiative also provides hygiene kits and equipment for preparing meals at home. The programme is being implemented with support from national media outlets, youth and women’s organisations, community groups, and volunteer teams, ensuring swift and coordinated delivery of relief to those in need.

Speaking on the initiative, LTL Holdings CEO, Nuhuman Marikkar, said the programme aims not only to meet immediate necessities but also to rebuild infrastructure and restore normalcy in affected communities through a structured, phased approach.
