According to the NBRO, the air quality index level with respect to PM2.5 for 08:00 hour on 14th December 2022 indicates Unhealthy level at Badulla; Unhealthy for sensitive groups at Colombo 07, Jaffna, Kegalle; Moderate level at Kurunegala, Vavuniya, Kandy, Galle, Nuwara Eliya, Rathnapura, Embilipitiya, Puttalam, Trincomalee, Kalutara, Polonnaruwa and good level in all other cities.
