The CID yesterday (15) arrested a person called Mahinda Kodituwakku, who claims to be ‘Avalokiteshvara Bodhisathva’.
On Friday (12), the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court imposed an overseas travel ban on him.
Earlier this week, the President of the Buddhist Information Centre, Ven. Agulugalle Sri Jinananda Thera, filed a complaint with the CID alleging that Kodituwakku has been misleading the Buddhist community.
